Gas Leak Detection Sensors
Typical detection applications include:
Detection of refrigerant gases with our ammonia sensor but also: Carbon Dioxide, Hydrocarbons, Halocarbons – HFCs, HCFCs, CFCs.
Detection of combustible gases such as: Methane, LPG, Propane, Butane, and Hydrogen
Detection of toxic gases such as: Carbon Dioxide and Ammonia in refrigeration, Hydrogen Sulphide in sewage treatment and Carbon Monoxide in underground car parks
Detection of volatile Organic Compounds such as: Acetone, Benzene, Carbon Tetrachloride, Chloroform, Ethanol, Toluene, Trichloroethylene.
The Gas Sensor (GS) is a state-of-the-art fixed gas detector which can detect a wide range of different gases. It is a high-specification product available at a competitive price and it offers customers absolute confidence that both safety and compliance requirements are met or exceeded. Ideal for: commercial/industrial refrigeration, chiller & plant rooms, supermarkets, underground car parks, boiler & machinery rooms, food ripening/storage processing, hospitals, schools, chemical storage rooms, greenhouses, water/waste treatment.
- Independent gas sensing device.
- 2 stage alarm output for pre-alarm and high alarm alerts.
- Connects to the GasHunter alarm panel range.
- Helps to meet the requirements of BREEAM POL01.
- Detects refrigerant gases
The standard sensor enclosure, IP41, is suitable for applications in normal conditions and in facilities with low levels of dust or moisture.
This sensor enclosure is typically used in plant rooms, machinery rooms, and cold rooms.
The standard models can be used in atmosphere where temperature ranges between -20°C to +50°C (+40°C electro chemical sensor).
