This is a complete environmental monitoring package designed for Comms rooms and server rooms to detect water leaks and alert a high temperature. The package is made up of a 2 zone alarm panel connected to water leak detection sensor tape and a temperature sensor. Zone 1 will continuously monitor for the presence of a water leak derived from a build up of condensate or a leaking water pipe. Zone 2 is connected to a temperature senor capable of detecting rises in temperature up to 30 degree C and will trigger once the set max temp has been reached. Water leak detection is especially important in a Comms/Server room as the potential damage caused by water coming into contact with electrical equipment can have devastating consequences to loss of data and equipment malfunction. Temperature monitoring can be used as an early warning to a problem with the cooling system in the room, allowing fast remedial action to be taken before severe damage happens to the equipment housed in the room.

| Sensor Tape (20m) | Water leak detection sensor tape used to trigger an alarm should water touch it at any point along it's length. Standard length supplied is 20m, enough to cover an area of approximately 5m x 5m either around the periphery of the room or in a serpentine configuration. Comes with plug and socket connections and floor clips to fix it to the ground. |
| Beacon and Sounders | The Comms Room Plus kit comes with an external beacon as standard. This id normally positioned outside of the comms room/server room to alert that an alarm has been triggered. Often the main alarm panel is housed in the room and there is normally limited access available, so having an external alert is essential to knowing there's a problem. |
| SMS Text Dialler | This is an option that you may want to add on to your Comms Room plus package. It can be connected directly to the main alarm panel and should an alarm be triggered, a text message will be sent to a number of programmed phone numbers. Having an additional SMS text dialler can offer 24/7 coverage even when no one is on site. |
